Measure Twice,
Order Once

LG is here to guide you through a simple process to make sure your new refrigerator will be delivered and installed worry-free.

First, grab a tape measure.

Plan The Pathway

Measure the width of the door openings along the delivery path. Consider the delivery pathway from the curb or driveway all the way to your kitchen.

Consider alternate paths - the shortest route may not be the easiest for a smooth delivery.

Width of Narrowest Door Opening

You must enter the narrowest door opening in the path.

Look Out for Obstacles

Some obstacles are easy to overlook. Be aware of potential problems such as hanging light fixtures and wall sconces, door handles and furniture that may need adjustment before delivery.

An outdoor gate in the pathway. Look for gates and other narrow spaces along the pathway.

A staircase with a low-hanging ceiling light. Be aware of potential problems such as hanging lights and wall sconces.

A staircase with a sharp turn at the landing. Consider any turns on the path to the kitchen, especially stairs.

Measure Your Space

Measure the space the refrigerator will occupy, to the nearest 1/4 inch.

Height

You must enter the height.

Width

You must enter the width.

Depth

You must enter the depth.

Front Clearance

Avoiding Problems

Answer these questions to determine if any more measurements are required.

		Yes	No
A	Is there an island in front of the refrigerator? Why?
B	Is there a 24" deep kitchen cabinet above the refrigerator? Why?
C	Is the refrigerator directly next to a countertop? Why?
D	Is there a wall 36" or longer on the side of the opening? Why?
